Photographic Make-Up Description
Photographic make-up calls for a wide variety of styles. For instance as well as the different genre (makeovers, fashion, editorial etc.) creating a look for a monochrome shoot is very different to something in full colour. Many make-up products although perfectly good for every day use, create problems when used under 5500 kelvin flash units of a photographic studio.
Good make-up and hair techniques can also be used to emphasise or de-emphasise specific features. If the nature of the shot calls for a definite angle then the design of the make-up is tailored to suit the direction of the shot. We hope we have demonstrated some of these techniques here.
